Go-to Breakfast

It’s no secret that breakfast is my favorite time of day. I love breakfast food! Any and all breakfast; coffee, pancakes, eggs, sausage. I love it all! I could eat it any time of day. While I love breakfast casseroles, bagels and oatmeal, lately I’ve been going for a breakfast bowl. This breakfast bowl is hearty and healthy! You just need a few ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup of frozen butternut sqaush

1/4 cup of frozen broccoli

1 egg

a dash of Parmesan cheese

1/2 tbs butter

1/4 cup of ground turkey (optional)

Your favorite seasoning.

DIRECTIONS

Start with butter or olive oil. Heat up in a pan. In a separate pan, cook your ground turkey if you haven’t already. Toss your broccoli, butternut squash in the pan. Heat until softened. At this point, I like to toss in the cooked ground turkey from the night before that I used for tacos.

Once the veggies are cooked, add 1 egg. I like to add a dash of seasoning here. I use Meat Church’s voodoo seasoning. Add a lid to the pan and let the egg cook. Once the egg is slightly runny, I add a little bit of parmesan cheese to the top.

Put all of this in a bowl and enjoy!
